This is a VERY HARD TO FIND, 1st Edition, 1st Print of MR. TETTLEY'S TENANTS, without Dust Jacket. Published in 1944 by Sanders Phillips & Company, Ltd.; "For Private Circulation for Mr. Tettley’s Tenants." This means it was a very VERY small print run. Grover C. Hall's Mr. Tettley's Tenants (the book Hall wrote before 1000 Destroyed) is the 4th Fighter Group unit history, a.k.a. Death Squadron. This book is an important and very scarce record of some of the top Aces in the RAF during World War II including photos of each Ace. Published while the war was still active and due to the content was considered too dangerous if it got into enemy hands and was not allowed to be republished. By many this book is considered the "Holy Grail" of WWII, RAF books. This copy is in very nice condition with some shelf wear. The Pages are still bright white. The back pages do show some moisture stains at the top, but the stains do not bleed down into the text or pictures. (You can see what I am talking about in the last picture posted. I have loaded a number of pictures so you can see the condition yourself. Only 1 copy available so don't miss out.
