Josie comes in 2nd for the most Hostess Comic Ads, 28. Actually, I expect to find a couple more before I'm done! Yes this is the same Josie as in "Josie and the Pussycats" fame!
One strange thing I noticed about Josie's Hostess Ads. Unlike Captain Marvel that used an '!' in almost every title and even a DOUBLE '!!' in one title; Josie Never used an '!' in any of her titles.
And, although I don't condone exclamation point abuse; well, I was just curious why they didn't use any exclamation point? See, right here they wrote Josie in "The Winner", but they didn't use an exclamation point
So, I guess it's nothing. Forget it, forget it, I just found it curious.
I mean if one of my close friends was a winner and I made a title about it, I would use an exclamation point.
Don't you think that someone winning warrants an exclamation point?
I just thought Josie should be a little more excited about a friend of hers winning.
Well, you know, I think Josie should learn to use them.
Like the way I'm typing right now, I would put an exclamation points at the end of all these sentences! On this one! And on that one!
